The Alaçatı beach is a well known spot for surfers for over 15 years. It is the most visited
between April and November. With it's water depth not passing 1,5m for 60-80m , which
enables non-swimmers too to surf , and it's rich stores where every piece of equipment can
be found.
Many windsurf academies are found in Alaçatı. Each of them having a professional team ,
starting beginners to surf in nearly 5 hours. Every piece of equipment is present. The
equipment can be rented from these acedemies. Daily rent varies from 20 to 50 euros.
